Colombo is Sri Lanka's commercial capital and the country's most populous metropolis. The Brookings Institution estimates that the Colombo metropolitan region has a population of 5.6 million people, with 752,993 people living in the Municipality. It is both the island's financial centre and a popular tourist destination.
Begin your travel to Dambulla after arriving at the Colombo airport. You'll stop in Pinnawela along the route to see the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and observe the captive-breeding programme in a controlled environment. Dambulla is where we will spend the night.
Breakfast is served before departing for a tour of Dambulla. Visit the Dambulla Rock Temple, which houses roughly 150 Buddha figures. Continue on to Sigiriya later. After arriving, check into your accommodation and go sightseeing. You'll see the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is known for its magnificent frescoes. Stay for the night.
After breakfast, depart for Polonnaruwa for a day tour. Enjoy the famous ancient sites such as the Royal Palace Remains, The Lotus Bath, Gal Viharya, and others. Return to Sigiriya for lunch. The evening is yours to do as you like. Stop for the night.
Breakfast is served before departing for Kandy. Once you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel. Later, go on a city tour. Explore the Arts and Crafts Centre, Kandy's town and market, the Kandy Lake, and the well-known Temple of the Tooth Relic. The evening is reserved for a cultural event. Kandy is where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya. A popular tea-producing highland retreat. Pidurutalagala, Sri Lanka's tallest peak, is also worth a visit (8282 ft). Nuwara Eliya is where you'll spend the night.
After a delicious breakfast, travel to Beruwela and check into the hotel. Take advantage of the beach's recreational opportunities. Staying in a hotel for the night.
On the final day of your tour, be transferred to Colombo Airport to board your departure to your next destination.
